Challenge #18: Colors!

Hello Users!

This week we have a festive challenge for you...
Please make a project that uses ONE OR ALL of the colors
Orange, Black or Purple!

***REMEMBER: All of our challenges call for you to use your hoarded supplies! A challenge requirement is to tell us in your post what you used!***

Please link your creation using Inlinkz by Friday Nov 4th. No blog? No problem! Just use keyword USE018 when uploading to an online gallery and leave us a direct link so we can find your creation. (Linking tips are at the bottom of the post!)

Please make sure to mention you are playing along with a Use It Tuesday challenge (a link is great too!) so we know you are participating.

As always, one lucky participant will be randomly chosen to be a featured guest designer in an upcoming challenge!

Here is a little inspiration to get you started:

France
made another stunning tag! Look at that background! While the inks she used were new, her flowers were from her hoarded stash...how many of you have those laying around? What gorgeous inspiration for them!

Haven used some paper she picked up this summer, but paired it with all hoarded supplies consisting of flowers, brads and the frame. And guess what? She painted that frame black herself!

Heather pulled out her neglected brayer to create this gorgeous card! Look at that beautiful sunset background! She went on to use her old, forgotten patterned paper and flowers.

Nancy used her hoarded cardstock and Doodlebug brads for this beauty! And those flowers...from the bridal section at Michael's! She colored them to match for our challenge!

Siobhan used her neglected Sizzix pillowbox die to make treat holders for her 1st grader's class. The stamps had yet to see ink and the paper...SO old...the orange was from the old Creative Memories 10x12 paper packs and the belly band was from a trip to Michael's at least 5 years ago.

Sonya inked up a previously uninked stamp (and isn't it darling?!). Plus, that circle clip had been collecting dust for 5+ years! You know you have some of those in your stash too! It looks perfect on this bewitching card!

And finally, our Guest Designer, Ana, who won our Chocolate challenge created this AMAZING box! Thank you for designing for us!

We can't wait to see what you create! Now go Use It!!

Well hello there users!

Amazing work this past challenge! We all must do a good job at hoarding our metal items!

Thankfully the Inlinkz froggy had to pick the winner, because if it were up to me, you all would have won!

YOU WIN, Corry!

As always our winner will be asked to join us as a Guest Designer in an upcoming challenge! She also gets to put this awesome button on her blog!

Our next challenge goes live on the 25th! Are you ready to use it?

Challenge #17: Metal!

Hello Users!

This challenge is inspired by my own personal crafty stash of all things metal...
Eyelets? Got 'em! Brads? Got 'em! Little word frames? Got 'em! Buckles? Got 'em!

Please make a project that has something metal on it! Use your imagination! Have fun with it!

***REMEMBER: All of our challenges call for you to use your hoarded supplies! A challenge requirement is to tell us in your post what you used!***

Please link your creation using Inlinkz by Friday Oct 21st . No blog? No problem! Just use keyword USE017 when uploading to an online gallery and leave us a direct link so we can find your creation. (Linking tips are at the bottom of the post!)

Here is a little inspiration from our fabulous design team to get you started:

Sonya made this festive card which was inspired by her overlooked pumpkin brads! (Oh my gosh, click on the picture to see them bigger...they are darling!) Love the rich colors!

Dinah used a metal frame and if you are looking closely, you will notice the title of "bubble" is made out of alpha brads! Genius!

France
named this tag 'find the time' because she needs to find some! Her tag is embossed with metal embossing powder and even the butterfly is a metal cut-out!

Haven
took the challenge into the kitchen! She pulled out tin foil, my friend, to make that amazing background! Per usual, she raided her craft stash for the remainder of this layout!

Heather used the faux metal technique to make this stunning card! Love the dimension it gives! She also finished it off with glimmer mist.

Nancy raided my stash for this one (well, not really but it is ironic that I have the EXACT items she used to make this beauty)! Love the big brads and that silver paper...yes, I hoard it too!

And the winner of our uninked stamp challenge, Jen, made these fabulous creations with her leaf brads!! Best use I have even seen for these brads...and the stitching is such a perfect addition!

We can't wait to see what you create! Now go Use It!!

Ana, YOU WIN!

As always our winner will be asked to join us as a Guest Designer in an upcoming challenge! She also gets to put this awesome button on her blog!
