Challenge #20: Giving Thanks

***Psst: You still have a time to apply for our Design Team!***
See this post for more information!

Applications are due by Nov. 30th!

**********************************************

Hello Users!

I can't believe it is already near the end of November! Where did fall go?

This week, in honor of our Thanksgiving holiday, please make a project that has to do with Giving Thanks.

***REMEMBER: All of our challenges call for you to use your hoarded supplies! A challenge requirement is to tell us in your post what you used!***

Please link your creation using Inlinkz by Friday 2 Dec. No blog? No problem! Just use keyword USE020 when uploading to an online gallery and leave us a direct link so we can find your creation. (Linking tips are at the bottom of the post!)

Please make sure to mention you are playing along with a Use It Tuesday challenge (a link is great too!) so we know you are participating.

As always, one lucky participant will be randomly chosen to be a featured guest designer in an upcoming challenge!

Here is a little inspiration to get you started:

Heather has a little addiction to card kits. Shhh...don't tell anyone. ;) We are so glad she dug into one to create this beauty! Such pretty fall colors!

Jane used this darling digi she downloaded over a year ago and 'lost' on the computer. And the paper? She bought 10 sheets and cut into her very LAST one just for us! Oh Jane, we are so thankful because this is so cute!

Nancy dusted off the heat gun and embossing powder for this one! She also 'almost' used up the ribbon, which was re-purposed from a cupcake box! {And she confessed the ribbon was yummier than the cupcake was. Spoken like a true hoarder! Tee Hee}

Sonya finally inked up this stamp, which was a gift from a friend! What a fabulous bike stamp and the colors she used are so soft and pretty...takes me back to spring!

Siobhan used her hoarded washi paper tape she bought in Japan last year. {I won't admit just how many rolls I have stashed away (42) and how many cards I have made thus far with it (2).} Confessions aside, it was fun to use and I am glad I tore into it! ;)

Dinah, our scrapbooker extraordinaire, has a hidden talent! Look at this darling card! And it is hand-stitched! We are 'grateful' she was taken out of her comfort zone for this one!

France used 100% hoarded papers for this amazing tag! The leaves are hand cut. Gorgeous! We are so 'thankful' she dug deep into her stash to create this beauty!

Haven heated up her oven for this one! That Girl Scout emblem is from an old candy mold! Once cooled, she colored it up with hardly used embossing powder and chalks. She finished it off with hoarded flowers and a brad. What an awesome thank you card!

And, our lovely guest designer, Carol, made this gorgeous creation! The flower decoupage has been sitting in her stash for ages and the backing paper...a magazine freebie! She was saving it for the perfect card and we are thankful she used it for us!

We can't wait to see what you create! Now go Use It!!

***REMEMBER: All of our challenges call for you to use your hoarded supplies! A challenge requirement is to tell us in your post what you used!***

Please link your creation using Inlinkz by Friday 18 November. No blog? No problem! Just use keyword USE019 when uploading to an online gallery and leave us a direct link so we can find your creation. (Linking tips are at the bottom of the post!)

As always, one lucky participant will be randomly chosen to be a featured guest designer in an upcoming challenge!

Here is a little inspiration to get you started:

Haven used her hoarded stickers that a friend gave her in 2006 to make this yummy baking layout! She also used paper from her stash...the pages looks just as great as those cookies do!

Heather's riddle for this darling card? What do you get when you cross a RAK image, perfectly good and unused background piece, forgotten quilted top note and neglected brad? This week's card, of course! Now that is a recipe for success!

Jane has us salivating with this home-baked creation! Can't you just smell that warm apple pie? Her images were her hoarded items...aren't they darling? We totally agree with her sentiment and could not have said it better ourselves!

Nancy's cupcake looks good enough to eat! What a fun technique for her cupcake topping! Her image is from a neglected Hero Arts set. She also used hoarded papers to make this delectable card!

Siobhan pulled out her neglected Cricut Imagine to make this card. She also used some old SU paper that was a hostess gift a few years ago. And that ribbon slide? She had to blow the dust off the package it was in. Thankfully the dust did not get in the apple pie. :)

Sonya made this darling layout using all hoarded supplies! The parenthesis around the turkey were 6 years old and started out red. She pulled out the 5 year old Making Memories paint she 'had to have' and painted them orange to match her layout colors. We think she fixed-up a fabulous layout!

Dinah used some old Fancy Pants paper to make an amazing layout about her Julia Child cookbook she has yet to use! We think Dinah must not only have hoarding issues with scrappy supplies, but also cookbooks! :)

France used all hoarded items on this tag...except for one thing...guess what it is? The picture! It could not be more perfect for this challenge, too! What a cool vintage feel (and cute little girl)! Bon Appetit is right!

And last but certainly not least, we have our Guest Designer, Corry, who whipped up this amazing set of eye candy! Who knew that hoarded papers, ribbons and chip board could make such a fabulous creation!

We can't wait to see what you create! Now go Use It!!
